We all have stories & we all have ways of telling that story.
Some of us are eager to tell & the rest are waiting for someone to ask.
I want to know your story & how you choose to express it.
No matter what it is, a short story, a fairy tale, a love story or even a novel series, I would be more than happy to listen.
I will always be here.
Whether you decide to quit writing stories or to continue, I will be here.
I made a thing.
If there was one post on this blog that I thought was most important I would say this is it. EVERYONE needs to realize this. Everyone deserves to realize this. This is something I was told in intensive outpatient therapy that has helped me more than anything. It’s so easy to get off the road of recovery because sometimes you feel as though you’re right back where you started- but when in actuality, you just hit a bump. I cannot stress enough that every day you are stronger, with every day you become better, healthier. But even if you’re better and stronger and healthier, you will still experience bad days and hardships- it does not mean you are right back where you started. It’s just another thing to get through. You’re still stronger and better and healthier, you just have some more shit to go through to get back to feeling good.
It’s a sad truth of the human condition: you can’t always be happy. EVERYONE experiences bad days and bad weeks and bad months, it does not mean all your hard work has been for nothing. You’re still that much better and it’ll become easier and easier to overcome these hardships.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination. Even though you’re better and stronger and healthier and whatever else doesn’t mean you’re always going to be happy. It just means you won’t always be unhappy… If that makes sense
I want to tell EVERYONE It Gets Better. Life is rough sometimes. It’s not always going to be that way and things GET BETTER. Life is wonderful and amazing. It is a gift. You owe it to yourself to get through the rough times and find out what life has in store for you. If you succeed in committing suicide, you won’t get to see those things. Don’t attempt suicide. IT GETS BETTER.
Today, I’m starting over.
No more cutting. No more wasting my time getting upset over things that don’t truly matter.
Time for a new me. A fresh outlook on life.
I’m alive, and that’s all that matters.
This is amazing. Change your outlook, change your life. Save yourself, save others. Every life matters. Every moment matters.
Congratulations! I hope you stick with it and feel better! Remember that you’re beautiful and you’re never alone. <3 <3 <3
